The numbers to beat from 2009:  $54,729.68 & 1,753 lbs. of food

This is our 8th annual food drive in collaboration with  Second Harvest Food Bank.  We will have food collection barrels out
from 11/24 through the first of the year.  Monetary donations up to $500 each will be matched by The Severns Family
Foundation with a total cap of $30,000.

Our goal for this year is $80,000

Donate Online @ Second Harvest's Vitural Food Drive

All online donations are matched (up to $500)

The Virtual Food Drive allows you to shop for and purchase food on their website.  Since they buy in bulk and know what
foods they need, this is the best way to stretch your donation dollar.  You can also just donate a specific amount of money and
not choose any specific foods (even easier).

MOST NEEDED FOODS

The Food Bank needs nutritious, non-perishable foods:
Please avoid donating items in glass containers (they break and make a mess).

Powdered milk
Peanut butter
Pasta
Tuna
Low sugar cereal
Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup)
Canned foods with pop-top lids

PLEASE AVOID

Bulk rice
Bulk flour
Bulk sugar

Mini Marshmellows
